Akoya pearl no blemishes and great luster

Why is natural Akoya Pearl more valuable than Freshwater Pearl?

There’s many reason, main ones are the orign and supply of pearl.
Freshwater Pearl – Farmed and created using freshwater mussel. Each can produce 24-32 pearls,
Akoya Pearl – Only 2 pearls are produced from each of the Pinctada fucata martensii oyster.
Akoya pearl are rare due to the low supply and high in demand for fine jewellery. Fine quality ones are even rarer with blemish-free and shape.

In GIOIA Fine Jewellery, every single pearl is selected for its colour, luster, blemish-free and perfectly round shape.
