There’s many reason, main ones are the origin and supply of these natural pearl.

Freshwater Pearl – Farmed and created using freshwater mussel, mainly in china. Each can produce 24-32 pearls.


Akoya Pearl – Only 2 pearls are produce from each of the Pinctada fucata martensii oyster, in Japan.
