Custom Design

The brief was romantic without being predictable — a heart-shape that actually earned the shape rather than defaulting to it. The centre stone is a 1.11ct unheated Mozambique pink sapphire, certified by GRS, with a vivid saturation that photographs struggle to fully capture.
Heart-shape sapphires at this quality level are genuinely rare to source. The cut demands a well-proportioned rough, and Mozambique stones with this depth of vivid pink without heat treatment are exceptional finds. The multi-facet cut maximises the stone’s natural lustre — every angle returns a different intensity of colour.
The rose gold frame around the sapphire was a deliberate choice. Warm metal amplifies the stone’s pink saturation while the white gold micro-pavé band creates a two-tone contrast that keeps the design from reading too heavy. The surrounding round brilliant diamonds follow the heart silhouette, accentuating the shape without competing with the centre stone’s vivid colour return.
