Custom Rings Singapore

Explore Our Custom Rings Collection

Every custom ring here started as a conversation. A client came with an idea, a stone caught our eye, and something got made that hadn’t existed before. These are the three things that go into every commission.

We don’t buy commercial stock. Clarence & Cheryl sources each stone individually — unheated sapphires, pigeon blood rubies, neon Paraiba tourmalines — assessing colour, origin, and treatment status before anything else. The stones in this portfolio are the kind that hold their value because they’re genuinely rare, not because of what we charge for them.

Personalised Experience & Meaningful Design

Most clients arrive with a feeling rather than a design. Someone wants something that reminds her of the sea. Someone else wants a stone that matches the colour of a moment he still thinks about. We work with that — through sketches, stone viewings, and back-and-forth conversations until the brief becomes something you can actually wear.

Decades of Master Craftsmanship

Setting an unheated sapphire is not the same as setting a commercial stone. The facets are more demanding, the pressure tolerance is different, and a mistake costs more than money. Our craftsmen have done this long enough to know where the risk is — and how to build around it. The pieces in this portfolio are made to be worn every day for decades.

Every custom ring in this portfolio was built for one client around one specific gemstone. None are for sale. What you see here is a record of completed commissions, a reference point for anyone considering a custom ring and wanting to see what the work actually looks like.

The process at GIOIA begins with the gemstone, not the design. Clarence and Cheryl source and assess each stone before a single sketch is drawn. Stone first, design second. That sequence is what produces rings with lasting value rather than rings built around what happens to be available.

Each commission page documents the stone in full, including origin, weight, treatment status, and certification, alongside the design rationale and finished piece. We document it this way on purpose. When a client commissions a ring with an unheated Ceylon sapphire or a GRS-certified Mozambique ruby, they deserve to understand exactly what makes that stone exceptional and why the setting was designed the way it was.

The gemstones in this portfolio range from natural unheated sapphires and rubies to colour-change alexandrite and multi-stone clusters. Every stone that enters a GIOIA commission has been personally evaluated by Cheryl, assessed for colour, clarity, and character before any design conversation begins. We work with what is right for each client’s brief, not what is easiest to source.

Most commission include a video, filmed at delivery, showing the finished piece for clients safekeeping. You will find it on each ring page.
