An engagement ring that felt like it belonged to a world beyond the ordinary. Inspired by Japanese anime and the fleeting beauty of sakura season, this commission asked for something no standard setting could deliver. The answer was a pair of sculpted wings rising on each side of the centre stone, each one set with brilliant diamonds that catch light the way animated stills catch motion — frozen, but full of energy.
The centre stone is a 1.24ct unheated purple sapphire — a colour that sits between lavender and deep purple depending on the light, exactly the kind of gemstone that reads differently on the finger than it does in photographs.

The entire setting is crafted in champagne gold, a warmer and softer alternative to white gold that suits the romantic, otherworldly character of the brief.
