Custom Design

This commission centred on a 1.40ct unheated Ceylon sapphire — a stone with the pale, icy blue that Sri Lanka is known for at this weight. Our client wanted something that felt bridal without being predictable.

The curve band pulls the eye along the finger while two round diamonds in graduating sizes on each side give the sapphire company without competing with it.

Set in 18K white gold, the entire piece reads light and modern. The six-prong setting keeps the stone visible from every angle — maximising the stone’s natural colour return in different lighting.
