Zambian emeralds occupy a specific place in the gemstone world. They carry a deeper, slightly cooler tone — more saturated, with a blue-green quality that photographs well but reads even better in person. This 1.35ct stone is GRS certified with insignificant oil, meaning the clarity enhancement applied during cutting was minimal to the point of being gemologically negligible. For an emerald at this size and saturation, that is a meaningful distinction.
The side stones are trapezium-cut diamonds — a fancy shape that echoes the geometry of the centre stone without competing with it. The Art Deco inspiration is in the restraint: straight lines, symmetry, no halos, no pavé. Just three stones in a clean white gold setting that lets the emerald be the entire conversation. It is a design that would not have looked out of place in the 1920s and will not look dated in forty years.
